Martinelli Advogados advised Grupo Piracanjuba on the acquisition of Natulact, a dairy company headquartered in Nossa Senhora da Glória, in the state of Sergipe.

Natulact is known for its strong presence in the Northeast region and specializes in the production of cheese and dairy derivatives.

The transaction marks a strategic move by Piracanjuba to expand its national footprint, reinforce its industrial operations, and enhance competitiveness in regional markets.

With Natulact’s solid performance and established operations in the Northeast, the acquisition adds value to Piracanjuba’s portfolio and distribution capacity.

The deal was unconditionally approved by CADE, the Brazilian antitrust authority, and involved a range of legal and regulatory complexities, including environmental licensing, operational integration, and compliance with sector-specific norms.
